Please join us at Burr Ridge Veterinary Clinic’s Open House on Sunday, September 24 from 2-4pm at 8120 S. Cass Ave. in Darien. Our doctors and staff will be on hand to provide tours, answer your veterinary medicine questions, and provide information about BRVC’s unique services.
Dr. Karen Angele will share information about our new Mobile Monday vet services and staff will give you a tour of the mobile truck. One of our Fear Free Certified Professionals will share the changes we’ve made to make sure every pet feels comfortable at our clinic. If your favorite four-legged family member needs some help getting in shape, we’ll answer your questions about Curviest Critters – BRVC’s complimentary, personalized pet weight management program.
Staff will demonstrate laser therapy treatment that helps surgical incisions heal faster and provides relief to pets with arthritis and degenerative joint disease. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet Dr. Dana Johnson, our newest doctor, who provides vet services to furry and feathered exotic and pocket pets. And, throughout the event, we’ll celebrate the clinic’s 25 consecutive years of AAHA accreditation.
Every adult open house attendee will be entered in a drawing to win fabulous door prizes. Children’s activities include having a photograph taken dressed as a surgeon and face painting. Light refreshments will be served.

We’re proud to be the first animal hospital in DuPage County with Fear Free Certified Professionals. To become certified, veterinary staff must complete a comprehensive eight-part educational course and exam. Additional Fear Free education is required annually to maintain certification.
